Why we are in business:

While working in the accounting profession, MYBC’s director, Rachael Turner, saw too many small businesses suffering from poor bookkeeping practices both from a cost perspective and a general lack of information about their businesses.

As such, MYBC was established to provide small businesses with a quality, cost effective bookkeeping solution so that business owners can relax and focus on doing what they do best.

By outsourcing your accounts to MYBC you have access to a team of professional accounting staff, from data entry clerks through to Accountants, without having to employ them full-time. That way, you get the right person for the right job every time, saving you time and money in the long run.

Properly qualified:

Tax legislation is complex and by law only qualified persons are able to charge for providing tax and GST services. As a registered tax agent, MYBC is able to lodge your Business Activity Statements (BAS) on your behalf as well as provide advice and information in relation to GST and other taxes that affect your business.

As members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Taxation Institute of Australia (FTIA) and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB), we are fully qualified to prepare your financial and management accounts.

Our Staff:

MYBC is NOT a franchise, instead we choose to employ and train motivated, talented staff to prepare your accounts. Our staff have a broad range of experience and abilities giving you access to a greater range of services than a single operator or franchisee can provide.

Our commitment to continued professional development ensures we keep up to date with the latest tax and accounting issues affecting your business.

Working with Your Accountant:

MYBC works in conjunction with your Tax Accountant, providing them with fully reconciled accounts at year end. This minimizes the time they need to spend preparing your end of year financial statements and tax returns and enables them to focus on the more important aspects of your business with you.

Together, we work to achieve the goals of our mutual clients and add real value to their businesses.
